About Anne Stick
Anne Stick is an Episcopal priest who inspires spiritual formation through the visual arts. Her engaging puppet sermons begin with papier-mâché puppets come to life in front of hand painted backdrops. her Hand sewn costumes and Life-size animals created out of papier-mâché and faux fur engage the whole congregation in nativity plays. Her murals create an environment of spiritual discovery and healing.
She passionately strives to enable others to experience the freedom of gods creative flow. She teaches puppet making, puppetry, painting, and sculpture. Her outreach art programs have spread from inner city baltimore to Uganda. She has worked to help those living with disability, victims of intimate partner violence, the unhoused, and children in poverty rediscover their creativity and the love of God through art. she believes that art is created in a space of possibility in which the kingdom of God may emerge in a truer form.
